A rather serious & pricey setting to be having desserts. each person is required to order 1 dessert & 1 drink. Now, I am not a big dessert person but their parfait is... excellent 🤤 I devoured it in seconds. It was imho worth the price ✨ Initially wanted to try their kakigori but i think it was for summer specifically 🍧
visiting this dessert place about 8 years ago. So glad it lasts through the pandemic. The parfait still tastes very good. The rice ball is soft and chewy, and the ice cream mixed with berries were also very yummy. Seasonal chestnut flavor is also very delicious.
Let me start with that the place wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t to my taste, thus the 3 stars.
What disappointed me was the small options I had to order with.
As a picky person I like having a lot of options, but this place had only 2 types of kakigori, which was also, to my taste, overpriced and not worth it.
It was nice, but for me, I guess I didn’t like it.
It’s also a bit hard finding the place.
But yeah if you don’t mind using some extra money on kakigori, go ahead and try it.
I got the black honey one.
It was 1500¥ btw.

Amazing ice cream and tea. The tea is free for each order and is amazing and deep. The menu isn't in English so be prepared to use google translate if you don't speak Japanese! We got the three scoop sampler and the tiramisu parfait. Surprisingly all the ice creams pair perfectly with the tea and it's a texture that shows passion in the creation. They see ice cream as an art. Not just another dessert.
Well what can I say this is one of the best dessert places I've eaten at in Kyoto. The signature parfait has all the right ingredients including berries, yogurt, mochi and three different flavors of ice cream.
The location is a little difficult to find, but once you do your well rewarded. The kinoko ice cream was a favourite but their other flavours also excelled when compared with the same flavour from other locations.
The strawberry ice was also very good for taking the heat out of a hot day.
Let’s have parfait heavenly.
